Wow! Has it really been over a year since I've blogged??

So, where do I begin? I'll start with the most recent. On May 14th, Casey Carlson asked the big question and my answer was YES!

Speaking of a job. The last time I was on here I was working at HEB and trying to transfer to the Bakery. A lot has changed in a year and I'm actually at my second job since the last time.

After HEB I moved to The Picture People at Barton Creek Mall. TPP will have to be a it's own post, but I went from Associate to Assistant Manager in 3 months! I was only at TPP for 4 months for multiple reasons and decided to find another job.

The job I'm at kinda found me. Awhile back Joel got a job at this place called the Distressed Property Institute, and in January Casey was able to get a job there, too. Which is a huge blessing all its own. *Yet another post :) Now back to my train of thought. When Casey got the job at DPI he immediately told me to apply. 1 month later I got the job and that takes you to my picture.

I have to go now. I have 2 birthday parties to go to tonight! Ryan form work and Stina my sister (#4)

This has been fun. I hope I'll remember to keep up with this :)

time to be honest

I feel like the picture above. I've been in denial about how much I weigh, and I was surprised to see how much I've really gained. Y'all it's the most I've weighed all my life. I'm not blaming this on anyone but myself. I let myself go. It's going to be really hard to do this and I'm hoping that since I've blogged about this I'll actually stick to a plan of action.

Change of plans

When I started this blog I said that I was planning on overseas mission trips and other things. Well as of right now there are no overseas trips. But I'm now going with the students at my church on two trips.

This weekend the student choir is going on a tour. Wooo! I'm excited. We're leading worship at Bannockburn then driving to the Dallas area to lead worship at another church. After that we're going to a christian waterpark. The next day we're doing a special mission trip at Mission Arlington. YAY! We're also singing again that night at a revial service. The last day which will be Tuesday we'll be going to Six Flags over Texas.
I'm sure I'll be dead after this trip, but I have to recover quickly because Dani's wedding is 3 days after that. I know on Wed. I'll be helping with stuff and the next day is the rehearsal. Then the big day. Dani's wedding requires many separate posts. After I recover from the wedding I'll be going with the middle schoolers to summer camp. I'm in charge of the 6th grade girls! It's going to be tons of fun, and I mean it.

Results on the Bakery Job

I talked to Ruth(Bakery Lead) today and she said she's going to hold on to my application. My schedule for the summer is difficult to work around. She said she still wants me to work with her. If I'm still at HEB in the Fall I might be able to transfer.

I'm kinda relieved that I didn't get the job. I would have to work Sundays and Wednesday nights, and I love choir and church. It was good to know that there are other options at my store. For now I'm going to work as hard as I can up front. I need the money.

I might be a bakery girl

So today I have an interview with the Bakery Lead at my H-E-B. I'm hoping to get the position and transfer to the bakery. I'm tired of the front end(cashier & bagger) and I'm ready for a change of pace. Most of the people I've talked to about the bakery don't like it, but it seems like there reasons are things I don't mind doing. So I'm hoping for the best.

I'm on a freakin' billboard!!!

Look it's me! On a billboard!!! I finally got a picture in front of one of these. It's pretty cool to see yourself on the highway. It's also fun to hear all the hilarious stories from my friends about how they saw this and what happened. You have to know that this one was on I-35 downtown, so you can imagine what would happened.

it's been way too long...

So i've realized it's been way too long since I've blogged and I'm finally at a computer that doesn't take forever to type. I'm not trying to make any excuses but I've had a lot of them. Let me start from the beginning.

The biggest reason why I haven't done this is both of the computers at my house are on the fritz. One of them has a bad virus and the other one has "issues." The next one would be school. Since the computers didn't really work at home I had to use the ones at school. I really don't like being on the computers at school because I have to stay there longer than needed. Plus, the work load was longer and I really wasn't focused extra stuff. Now I did have access to my dad's computer at his office but usually he would kick me off because he needed it.

But the main reason was forgetfulness. I honestly forgot about this for awhile. But the lovely Jenny has been making sure I don't forget this time. Oh, and Dani, too.

A lot has happened and I want to share some of it with yall but you'll have to wait and see what that will be.
